Course objectives
The course aims at providing the knowledge and the tools to prepare and deliver effective presentations.

Results of learning outcomes
Knowledge and Understanding:
Students will be exposed to some of the techniques to organize, prepare, and deliver an effective presentation. For example, the ability to tune the content and the level of the presentation according to the expected goal and the composition of the audience will be addressed.
Applying Knowledge and Understanding:
A significant portion of the course will be devoted to the application of the aforementioned concepts and techniques to practical cases, including examples provided by the teacher and short presentations prepared by the students.
Making judgements:
Students will acquire the ability to judge if a presentation has been well prepared and has the pontential to reach the audience in the best way possible. Students will also get first-hand experience with the preparation of an effective seminar relying in particular on self evaluation and peer learning.
